Chicago, 1897. 4to., 161 p., ill. VG. Half crushed red morocco, half marbled paper over boards. Leather tips are rubbed w/ boards exposed at corners. Rubbing to extremities. Gilt medallion to front board and gilt to spine between five raised bands. TEG. All other edges deckle. Binding is tight. Marble endpapers. Preliminary pages show some spotting, smudging, but all pages are devoid of writing or other markings. Book profiles the officers and members of the Illinois chapter of the Society for Colonial Wars and provides a "record of the service performed by their Ancestors in the Wars of the Colonies." Art journals, Italian Fascist publications, etc., culled from Walter J. Johnson's liquidation, as well as a collection rare jazz records, including 100's of Boogie Woogie and BeBop '78s, And much more, just ask.
