This author came to Canada in the 1880s, where he edited the pivotal Icelandic-Canadian newspaper Logberg and took a leadership role in Icelandic-Canadian community and political affairs. in 1891 he was selected as President of the Icelandic Liberal Association of Manitoba (e.g., see Kristjanson). He returned to Iceland about 1895, after a ten year residency in Canada (Kristjanson, page 332). Note, Einar Hjörleifsson was also known as Einar H.
