1850. No Edition Remarks. 300 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Front endpaper glued to half title page. Small blue ink and brown staining to many pages throughout. Distinct foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Both hinges cracked with netting visible, thus the boards are slack. Pencil inscription to rear paste down. Some gutter cracking. Pages are rough cut. Heavy wear and bumping to spine, board edges and corners, with severe splitting along rear joint, thus parts of spine are loose. Smaller splitting and loss to spine ends and corners. Notable tanning to spine and board edges, with scuffing, small stains and marking across the boards. Book has a forward lean.
