Newton Gayle was a pseudonym used by the writing team of Muna Lee and Maurice Guinness for five books written in the 1930s. Orange cloth boards have maintained sharp corners with minimal edgewear. Overall lightly soiled, with faint lines along the lettering of the title. The spine is bumped and sun-darkened. Binding is secure, and is slightly cocked with minimal light play. Text block edges are dusty. Cutting on fore edge is a bit ragged, and ink on head of text block is unevenly faded. Inside pages show some light age toning.
