About this Item
First University of Texas edition. Fine in a very good dust jacket with light rubbing, and toning on the spine and front panel. Faulkner's third book, preceded by *The Marble Faun* and *Soldiers' Pay*. Faulkner wrote the two page foreword, which comprised the entire text of the original (supplemented here by Spratling's account of their friendship), and "arranged" the portraits by William Spratling of the various figures active in the artistic life of the New Orleans French Quarter.
