Four collectible early paper back copies of Zane Grey cowboy books. Shadow on the Trail (1957), Black Mesa (1958), Shadow on the Trail and Stranger from the Tonto (both 1965). The two copies of Shadow on the Trail have different covers and liveries reflecting their dates of publication. No Dust Jackets (as issued). Covers: colour pictorial laminated with cowboy scenes to fronts, varying coloured lettering to fronts and spines and black lettering to rear; all in remarkably good condition for paper backs over 50 years old; clean and bright; some slight rubbing to edges, commensurate with age and use but still very good. Internally: all very clean and tightly bound; no inscriptions, markings or book plates; pages slightly yellowed (due to quality of paper) but generally in very good condition for their age. 192 pp. each.
