Interior text pages are flawless. The print is small font reducing the size of the book. There are 122 chapters. This is the autobiographical account of the experiences of British soldier T. E. Lawrence, Lawrence of Arabia, while serving with rebel forces during the Arabian Revolt against the Ottoman Turks. The extraordinary breadth and variety of his activities and associations, and his ability to describe them vividly in writing, earned him international fame as Lawrence of Arabia, a title popularized by the 1962 film based on his life. This book has been called a novel traveling under the cover of autobiography, capturing Lawrence's highly personal and exciting version of the historical events described in the book. It is one of the major statements about the fighting experience of the First World War'. Lawrence's younger brothers, Frank and Will, had been killed on the Western Front in 1915.
