About this Item
pp 150 A charming collection of 150 haiku which describe the changing seasons of the year "like an oriental scroll lit by minute flashes of observation - sharp, penetrating, wry, funny, sad". Inscribed by the author "for Alasdair Love and very best wishes Alan Spence 2000". A small paperback in fine condition. Provenance: from the recent Glasgow dispersal sale of Alasdair Gray's library. Gray (1934-2019) is acknowledged as one of the most innovative figures in Scottish literature and culture.
