Stiff Wraps. Very Good/Paper Wraps. 11 x 13". An oversize paperback book on the Schwetzingen castle and gardens near Heidelberg, Germany. All text is in German. White stiff boards with gold cord threaded through the spine. A color plate of the gates to the palace is pasted onto front panel, with titles in gilt and black on front panel. Inside, there is an introduction by Karl Kolmel, followed by tipped in plates of beautiful pastels by Franz Huth depicting the castle, both interior and exterior views. This is a book made of the finest materials, quality plates and quality paper. Lovely, with few flaws, just a bit of discoloration and wear to edges of covers. No date, but I'm guessing this is an earlier edition, possibly from the 1960s. Scarce, especially in this edition, especially in the U.S. Size: 11 x 13". Bookseller Inventory # 001357
