Met titelprent met o.a. de apotheker aan een ziekbed en de initialen H.A. op de kraag van zijn mantel. Opdracht aan P.A. d. H., heer van K.De "erven L. Kloppenburg" is waarschijnlijk een gefingeerd adres. De auteur zou H. van de Gaete kunnen zijn en het stuk is gebaseerd op een ware gebeurtenis. Cornutus staat voor Christiaen Lamberts. Hij is gehuwd met Lonkoog (Helena Hoijas). De apotheker Geen Kuit in het stuk staat voor Hermanus Angelkot Jr (1688-1727), apotheker aan de Herengracht hoek Vijzelstraat (vgl. de initialen H.A.). Het onderwerp van het stuk is overspel tussen de apotheker en de vrouw van Lamberts. Hierbij: artikel door C.G.M. Smit, De ontmantelde apotheker ontmanteld , maandblad Amstelodamum 73 (1986) nr 2.M6697[Printed by the heirs of Lucas Kloppenburg in Gouda in the years 1713-1716. Hendrik van de Gaete (1682-1719) was an Amsterdam bookseller, poet and playwright who published several comedies, sometimes of doubtful qualities.
