Large 8vo. (23 cm.) 130p. Illustrated with many black and white captioned photos. Grey/blue pebble-grained buckram with silver letters on the front cover. Very minor wear to extremities with nothing rubbed through, cloth clean, silver bright, previous owner's name in pencil on front pastedown [Celina Gronseth?, Co. Supt. Schools, Britten, S.D.], else very good to near fine with no internal markings. No dust jacket. The material in this book which documents a devastating blizzard was compiled and edited by Mrs. Walter [Ethel Laural] Hellmann of Millboro, SD. The blizzard struck the so-called "Rosebud Country", Gregory, Tripp, Todd and Mellette counties in South Dakota. This volume contains stories and pictures written and produced by numerous people in the area. Ethel Laura Hillmann also wrote BLIZZARDS OF SOUTH DAKOTA (1970). Seller Inventory # 008405
