A nice, basically as-new copy of the first edition that was limited to 2,000 copies. This is copy number 305. Red cloth in red slipcase. Slipcase with just a bit of minor rub. Book itself is fresh, square, tight and clean inside and out. A monumental work exploring Professor Galambos' thoughts on freedom, which he defined as a person having one hundred percent control over his or her property. This first limited edition was to be signed by Galambos, but he passed away before publication and so the publisher mounted a check signed by him on the front paste-down endpaper in lieu of a signature. The check in encased in clear plastic to preserve it. Red ribbon page marker. Originally sold by subscription and copies are scarce in the marketplace today. A very heavy book and extra shipping will apply to orders outside the U.S. Size: Quarto, 941pp Incl. Index. Bookseller Inventory #
