Condition Report Externally new spines with gilt titles original boards in good condition with some wear to the board edges and corners the leather is in good condition - top of vol 1 has a loose bit of leather handsome pair of large folio books joints good corners bumped Internally hinges repaired therefore tight to both volumen volumen 1 - pages 483, 566, 778, 966, 1166 (bottom corner missing - see photo - includes some text), 1190, 1280, 1341, 1425 and a few subsequent pages with lots of underlining in pencil to volume 1 some pages with what look like small 'burn holes' in them pages clean and tidy worming to the end of volumen 1 volumen 2 has pencil lines to the page margins from p1101 onwards (on a few pages only) two columns to a page - each numbered - see photos - pp 1576 and pp1377 vol 1 and 2 marbled end papers stuck to a free end paper some damp staining to the top of early pages to vol 1.
