A lovely, large edition of the first Edmund Dulac edition (1909) of the Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam with 110 verses and 21 superb tipped-in colour illustrations - including the frontispiece. Printed from the second edition by permission of Macmillan & Co. All illustrations with tissue guards. Unpaginated. Cream publisher's buckram with rich gilt lettering and decorations to upper board and browned spine (which would clean up with care). Fine throughout with clean, unmarked pages, except for a neat name and date to front peacock feathers design endpaper. Would make an excellent gift for a collector of the many different versions of this charming poem. A larger, heavy book that may require some extra postage, quoted to the buyer at the time of purchase. Seller Inventory # 004133
