Wonderful vintage booklet - 32 pages in a card cover. Photo of actual book by book seller. Issued July 1, 1937 this booklet outlines the Pomona Ranch (W.K. Kellogg Institute of Animal Husbandry) an outgrowth of the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Ranch, the main activity of the institute - the breeding of registered Arabian Horses. There are photos and details about their horses:Rifnas, Rasafa, Hmham, Jadaan, Rabiyat, Nasik, Rossana,Sikin, Farana, Rifla, Raseyn, Rossdin, King John. The card cover is slightly soiled, and has a repair to the edge of the spine. The final page has a map showing the location of the W.K. Kellogg Instutute of Animal Husbandry (ouside Los Angeles 1937). This is a scarce and wonderful book. Inside the pages are a bit rippled and tanned with age, but a gem nevertheless.
