First published in a dust-jacketed edition in 1949, this is the First British Picture Cover Edition from 1971 (First, thus). Hardcover 12mo has brightly decorated paper over boards with a bright green spine, in 188 pages, with pen-and-ink illustrations & cover art by Gilbert Dunlop. Condition is VG: completely clean, pages show moderate tanning, heavier around edges, but are completely unmarked. Binding strong & straight, hinges secure. Exterior shows moderate rubbing to extremities, with pushing to both ends of spine & significant corner bumping.
