Wrappers spotted and rubbed, small split in front hinge of second volume. Internally fresh and very good, untrimmed. First edition of this oft-reprinted report on Colombia. Gosselman was a commander in the Swedish navy who made several trips to the Americas, producing a number of books on his travels. In Colombia he visited Cartagena, Bogota, Medellin, and several other places, and provides information on local history, people, and agriculture.
