Appears to be only copy or at best one of a few. Personally assembled in a 3 ring binder, A coast guard officer who saw action as first wave boat at Blue Beach on D-Day, Okinawa, and above all this harrowing account of Iwo Jima with much detailed radio traffic, events and personal impressions with not a trace of 'rummor' or exaggeration. The photos are lab quality and hand mounted to the pages. This is an invaluable Coast Guard WWII memento as well (for those who think they had it easy! 52 pages much fine print. Unique. Morgan, from Newport KY was much honored among the elite 'Eisenhower's men' group in the Coast Guard. He swiftly scuttled a ship that caught fire while unloading ammo and avoided a catastrophic disaster. Much of interest and really well written, accurate and invaluable. a little minor wear to the ard plastic coated hoard three ring binder otherwise contents as new.
