Olafsson, etc. Subjects of poems mainly from western Canada throughout. Entirely Canadian content. The author, Friðrik P. Sigurðsson, known locally as "Friggi í Fagradal", was a pioneer farmer at Fagridalur in the Geysir district of New Iceland (Manitoba, Canada). He composed a great many poems which he delivered on occasions such as anniversaries, funerals, weddings, etc. He died in 1956. The title is from a famous quote from a work by Homer. Canadiana.
