Expertly rebound, Signature binding. Frontispiece photos of N. C. Creede, S. T. Smith, D. H. Moffat, Capt. L E. Campbell and Walter S. cheesman. Illustrated with line engravings and photos. Creede was born in 1842 as William Harvey. Creede served as an Indian scout under Major Frank North, became a prospector in Colorado and New Mexico. Became immensely successful, selling out to D. H. Moffat and L. E. Campbell. Became an alcoholic and drug addict. This book is quite scarce and seldom seen except as a new instant book reprint. Seller Inventory # 000514
