This 5.25 x 7.5, viii, 372 page book is in near fine condition but the jacket is rated as only fair. The green cloth covering is without any real condition issues to mention. The interior of the book shows a penciled notation on the ffep noting the anti-Japanese theme of the book. It is a stated first edition with the publication date noted in roman numerals on the title page. There is one uncut page which is the half-title and frontispiece. They have not been cut through. The three illustrations include one double-page colored picture in the style of a centerfold. The jacket is missing a large piece on the front panel (see picture) but the rest of the jacket would be graded as very good. The wrap-around front and back picture on the jacket has not been affected by the missing piece yet it is still bright, vivid, and illustrative of the story. Although the condition and desire for this book suggests a higher price, we wish to offer it at a lower cost as an honest bargain to today's collector. 372 pages. Seller Inventory # 1505-355
