In 1911, Baron von Steinheil, a Baltic German noble who had made a fortune extracting oil in Baku, acquired an old timber cottage on this site and within a year had it replaced by the current building (Swallow's Nest, one of the romantic castles of Neo-Gothic style near Yalta; built in 1912 by the order of a German baron Stengel).- - - Der Historische Verein Wolhynien E.V. (Schriftführer des Vereins: Nikolaus Arndt, Weg am Fuchsstück 2, 8714 Wiesentheid) plant für dieses Jahr die Herausgabe einer Biblio-graphie über das Wolhyniendeutschtum. - - - Hurij Vasil'evi Buchalo, Leiter der historischen Abteilung am historisch-landeskundlichen Museum des Regierungsbezirkes Rovno, bereitet Daueraustellungen über das Deutschtum im Bezirk Rovno am dortigen Museum sowie über Baron Steinheil in Gorodsk bei Rovno vor. Gleichfalls plant er eine Wanderausstellung über das Deutschtum in ganz Wolhynien.
