For this edition, the text of 1855 has been followed with the exception only that the spelling of Maori words has been normalized by the late Mr W. W. Bird. Includes 16 b/w drawings by Russell Clark. Light blue cloth boards with blue spine lettering. Head/heel of spine lightly bumped. Front board slightly cupped. Previous owner's bookplate on half-title page. Dj has minor soiling on back, one closed tear front top edge, and minor chipping and edgewear at head/heel of spine. In protective mylar jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
