Three uniform volumes of Scott's works: 1) The Poetical Works edited by J G Lockhart, 1869, with all the copyright introductions, extra notes, various readings, and annotations, iv, 823 pages. 2) The Waverley Novels, volume second, copyright edition entire, published in 1867 including Old Mortality, The Black Dwarf, Legend of Montrose, The Bride of Lammermoor, The Heart of Mid-Lothian, Ivanhoe, pages listed as 665-1078 then 1-384 pages (presumably incorrectly bound). 3) Copyright edition - The Fair Maid of Perth, Anne of Geierstein, Count Robert of Paris, The Surgeon's Daughter and Castle Dangerous 1868, 346-1015 listed pages. Half brown leather bound hardcovers with marbled boards, gilt titles within black frames on spines, and only minor rubbing of leather and almost no wear to boards. An incomplete set of Scott's works with unusual page numbering and presumed rebound at some time, but now in near fine to fine condition. Seller Inventory # 000186
