Hardcover. Condition: V.g. 1st thus. vii, 98; viii, 66; viii, 195; vii, 29; xxiii, 56pp. A memoir of each poet precedes his Poetical works. Frontis engraving by J. T. Wedgwood with portraits of the 5 poets within a decorative architectural frame. Vignette illustrated title-page and each section has a half-title page. Unauthorized pirated edition bound in a full green contemporary leather binding with gilt borders, 5 compartments with raised bands and gilt titles. Initials B.M. to the front board and an armorial bookplate initialed JEA to the inside board. Rubbing to the extremities. Neat ink date 28th February 1832 to the end-paper. Nice publishers notice, after the title-page, stating his edition is superior to any London edition as they have had to remove 'various compositions' and he also had access to private sources from the writers.
