British issue. Complete Ten volume set, in beautiful 3/4 blue leather with marbled boards and closed page edges, as well as end-papers. Gilt spine titles still bright. Each volume has a facsimile of the original title page (with engraving), dated 1851; followed by the 1866 title page. Each volume has an engraved frontispiece, with tissue guard in place. NO markings to interior pages. A few exterior hinges are showing 'cracks', but all are still quite tight. Corners are gently worn on all volume as are extremities (gentle shelf wear). Does not detract from this fabulous set. Volume III has two fold-out facsimile pages of Byron's handwritten verse. Volume IX includes six Cantos of Don Juan. No age-toning at all.
