First printing of the second novel of the trilogy "The Epic Of The Wheat".There is an owner's label on the front paste-down as well as a gift inscription dated 1903 on the front end-paper. The top of the text block is soiled and there is slight rubbing and a little fraying along the edges. It is bright and tight and the gilt of the decorations and printing is bright and shows no flaking. Seller Inventory # 000122
