Livorno is an Italian port city on the west coast of Tuscany. It's known for its seafood, Renaissance-era fortifications. From the rare Viaggio pittorico della Toscana (Pictorial journey of Tuscany) by Francesco Tofani. Most images were designed by Terreni, likely a relative of Giuseppe Maria Terreni (1739-1811), a native of Livorno and active in Florence, a celebrated landscape painter. A wonderful rare map.
