Contains 15 b/w photographs of varying sizes all captioned and each page tissue-guarded. Each page has a coat of arms in color. The inside of the rear cover is a colored map of Bavaria. 11.75 inches tall. The spine is opened from handling wear, though all is held securely due to the string tie. Searches in numerous fashions yielded no comparable copies. This has been issued to look like a personal photo album. A string-tied album; The front has 4 color decorations of an Alpine scene, a woman in native dress, and the coat of arms. The rear cover is also decorated. From the cloud-shredding Alps to the fertile Danube plain, the Free State of Bavaria is a place that keeps its clichéd promises. Story-book castles bequeathed by an oddball king poke through dark forest, cowbells tinkle in flower-filled meadows, the thwack of palm on Lederhosen accompanies the clump of frothy stein on timber bench, and medieval walled towns go about their time-warped business.
