iv + 299 pages + 16 pages publisher's adverts to rear. This is a SHORTHAND DICTIONARY. Dark green cloth covered boards, bottle green leather to spine & hinges with gilt decorated cross banding & decoration & gilt titles. Tear across 60% of bottom spine-end 6mm from bottom, with wear with rubbing to top spine-end. Wear with light rubbing to corners with light wear to edges, front board is slightly out of true. Pages have a wave and rear few pages/rear end-papers have been affected by damp, light foxing to end-papers and title-pages. Paper-crack 4mm to binding at title-page showing cloth but holding well. Ink name/address dated 1895 to flyleaf. Text is very clean & in nice condition.
