n this work, first published in 1899, (this is a second edition published in 1910) Bosanquet defined what he believed to be the fundamental ideas behind a true social philosophy. He criticised and interpreted the doctrines of Plato and Aristotle as well as many more contemporary writers, including Hegel, T.H. Green, Bradly and Wallace. This is a very good condition. The red clothcover is slightly scuffed at the edges but has no marks or tears. The Gilt wording on the spine is only alightly faded. There is a pencil name on the inside cover wiht a date Sept 16th 1911 342 pages incl. index. Seller Inventory # 58
