Book is a volume of Beacon Biographies of Eminent Americans. Blue cloth with gilt titling and decoration on spine, blind-stamped titling and decorative borders front and back, top textblock edge is gilt, the others edges are untrimmed, blue decoration on yellow endpapers, black and white frontispiece with tissue guard, black and white illustration on title page, 120 pages. Corners and spine ends are slightly worn, minor shelf wear, cover has some discoloration from foxing, one-inch brown stain near back edge of spine, upper back edge has a small pressure mark, another pressure mark on upper end of leading text block edge, edge of half-title page has a quarter-inch closed tear and associated crease, hinge is partially cracked at end papers. In spite of flaws, this is a handsome little book - colour is bright, text is clean and tight. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
