No Binding. Condition: Near Fine. Elsa Beskow (illustrator). First. Then first Sweedish Edition, 1955. A scarce title illustrated in full color with full-page plates every other page, 16 in all. The last one has a 3" tear on the bottom edge, the rest are NF to fine. This example has been translated into English (every page) and the typed translation taped to the proper page. done a very long time ago, perhaps by the first owners who also wrote a pleasant Christmas gift inscription on the front fep (end paper). Very good in oblong color illustrated stiff bds with a green cloth spine. NOTE: This is NOT the 1996 reprint edition, this IS the original 1955 edition. Seller Inventory # 019891
