Dark green cloth boards, a little bumped to corners and top/base of spine, slight rubbing along spine edge and a few small marks. Gilt embossed cover design and stylized spine titles, cover vignette of Peter Pan playing his pan flute sitting upon a mushroom patch. Binding good, with some movement. Map of Kensington Gardens on thick light olive endpapers at front and back. Colour frontispiece with captioned tissue guard, illustrated title page with light foxing. Foxing also to contents page. 126pp., colour plates. All the plates are present but plate and tissue guard adjacent to p.1 loose but intact. Plates and captioned tissue guards adjacent to pp.9, 17, 57, 97 ditto, some frayed around the edges. Occasional foxing, otherwise contents clean and bright.This is the first trade ediiton, with the point of issue verso title page simply stating: "From The Little White Bird". SCARCE.
