Pensees Bookshop (Est. 1999) is a full service independently owned bookstore located in the Courthouse Square in Charleston, IL. We have approximately 20,000 books covering most genres with a particular emphasis on History, Antiquarian, French and ephemera. We also restore and rebind books at very reasonable rates. We are always buying books, historical documents, movie memorabilia and misc. artifacts as well as other items of historical significance such as art, letters, diaries, maps and military-related pieces. We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, Pay Pal, and ABE-Commerce.
Illinois residents please add 6.75% sales tax. Refunds will only be granted if it
was determined that the book that you received was "not as described". For
example, if we listed the book as "VG" and failed to note that there was
underlining in it then we will gladly issue a refund. If you have any doubts as
to the condition of the book and/or it's contents then please e-mail us and we
will promptly answer your question...
Shipping Terms
Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
