Dated March 8, 1876. Map size: 20 1/4 x 15 inches (neatlines) on sheet 24 x 19 inches. Scale: 1 inch = 8 miles. Topography is shown in hachure relief. Beautifully drawn map of this part of Arizona including the towns of Flagstaff, Camp Verde plus Wickenburg at the southern edge. Major topographic features such as the San Francisco and Bill Williams Mountains are prominently shown. In addition to topography and drainage structure, the map shows important wagon roads (many leading to/from Prescott), explorer routes (Whipple, Beale, Sitgreaves), trails, forts, springs and water tanks, mountain passes, and settlements. *** Condition: Generally quite clean with a little edge roughness.
