An excellent copy of this now scarce early British work on psychotherapy published at the height of the 'New Psychology' phase, 1st issued the previous year presumably (author's Preface dated December 1920). Includes 3 chapters on 'Psycho-neuroses of war' ('shell-shock' and others on Freud, multiple personality and psychic research. Brown subsequently a prominent British psychologist in several fields including the relationship between psychotherapy and religion, now largely forgotten perhaps because of his humdrum name! 13 cm x 19.5 cm.
