Good to Good+; bound in contemporary paper with cloth spines, black titling on spines, some slight discoloration and fading to covers with wear to spine edges and corners; bindings tight; text blocks, some of which gilt, age toned but clean, with some text blocks rough and uneven; pages clean, with some pages discolored by non-acid free cellophane used to attach or reattach illustrations and photographs to certain pages; some ex-library copies with usual markings, including bookplates to front pastedowns, institutional stamps to several pages, library card pockets to rfeps and call number written in pencil; MF consignment.
