Circa 1928, not dated. Front cover bordered in blind-stamp designs. Front cover vignette in brilliant gilt. Spine lettered in gilt. Almost no wear to cover. Two small spots at bottom of front cover. (See photos). Top 2mm of spine sunned. Front endpapers a map of Kensington Gardens. Rear endpapers are blank. Endpapers show moderate foxing, as does the half-title page. This edition contains 16 tipped-in color plates by ARTHUR RACKHAM, each protected by a captioned tissue-guard. All plates and the text body are exceptionally clean. Complete with dust jacket with color pictorial onlay on the front panel. Dust jacket is not price-clipped showing price of 10/6 net. It is lightly soiled and edgeworn. A 9mmx12mm piece is missing from the foot of the spine slightly into the "ST" of Stoughton. A very nice copy in elusive dust jacket. 126pp. Size: Octavo. Seller Inventory # 002163
