"This 7.0 x 9.25 inch, 334 page softcover book is the assumed first printing of this title in 1942 by Outdoor Life of New York. This copy is in near fine condition but lacks any dust wrapper. The brick red cloth covers, with black designs and lettering on front panel and spine, show very little time and handling wear - - with the edges and corners showing just a touch of wear. There is a very small stain spot on the spine but really the covers are in near fine condition. The interior text block shows a penciled notation on the front paste-down "Dec.-26-1942" but the book shows no other markings and the text pages are in probably fine condition with just a touch of of age-toning to the paper. The book is a wonderful assortment of short articles that cover a broad spectrum of themes about outdoor life with certainly the focus on hunting and fishing. The book features numerous black-and-white photograph's and diagrams with most pages having some picture on it. 334 pages.". Seller Inventory # 1505-1173
