No Edition Remarks. 263 pages. No dust jacket. Blue cloth with gilt decoration. Contains black and white illustrated frontispiece, with other illustrations throughout. Gilt textblock edges. Front free endpaper almost detached. Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Noticeable marking to some pages throughout; text is not obscured. Binding is slightly shaky, but all pages remain attached. Boards have heavy shelf-wear, with visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately tanned, with moderate crushing and severe splitting to ends. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with some small but visible marks also.
