About this Item
8.8 x 6.4 cm. N.p. [USA], n.d., late 1800s. Roughly cut edges with slight rust on the upper edge and top left corner. Tintypes were produced in huge numbers but an image of twin, black sisters is probably a rarity. The un-sheeted background has also been captured making this a very casual, naturalistic and almost accidental portrait of two sisters dressed identically in black. 130978. Seller Inventory # 130978
