1914, First Edition, Good/no dj, thick octavo, 517pp., blue cloth hardcover, gold lettering on cover but mostly faded off backstrip, complete with 12 full-page b&w plates, corners bumped, cover cloth lightly soiled and wrinkled, front interior hinge paper starting to crack but binding still tight, inked notes covering last blank page and two rear endpapers, rest of text clean & unmarked, some general wear but overall a solid copy of the uncommon first edition of this classic.
