Seventh edition. Octavo. Appropriately bound in bright orange cloth with black-stamped spine; xvi, 459 pp., [5 pp., adverts]. First published in 1897, this comprehensive history of Orangeism and its attendant discriminatory practices against Catholics was authored by the Sixth Roman Catholic Bishop of Auckland, Henry William Clearly (1859-1929). Although it went through more than ten editions, Cleary's work is uncommon in the trade. Very Good with some smudging to cloth. Bookseller Inventory # 01879
