1898, Fourth Edition. Hardcover. Poor Condition, but this title is one of Parkman's survey of colonial history in Canada between the mid 17th century and the end of the French and Indian War that is part of his massive study of the European colonial powers in North America. Green cloth with marbled gilded binding, illustrated. Spine is worn on bottom with rubbing and slight tearing across the top; both boards are worn and stained. Inside, spine is slightly removed from the binding, and a couple of pages are loose. There is a "Note to the Revised Edition", written in June, 1893, and a Preface written in July, 1874.
