Son estos estudios el mayor acopio hasta la fecha de las exégesis a que ha dado lugar la obra del pintor Ramón Gaya, en cuyos escritos, y con el telón de fondo de algunos capítulos cruciales de la historia española contemporánea, reflexiona sobre su experiencia como pintor. El análisis pormenorizado de su obra a la luz de las teorías estéticas más influyentes del siglo XX ha permitido a la autora situar con justicia la figura del creador murciano en su contexto cultural, así como reconocer las diferentes filiaciones de su universo estético, desde el krausismo a Bergson. "Se puede afirmar de los escritos de Gaya lo que se ha afirmado de los aforismos de Nietzsche; a saber, que aunque son asistemáticos y fragmentarios, contienen más rigor que muchos tratados de estética", ha dicho Giorgio Agamben. El diálogo entre pintura y escritura y los modelos estéticos que defiende Gaya, desde el arte oriental a Cézanne pasando por Velázquez o Rosales, sacan a la luz una poética que tiene a la vida como fuente de todo valor. A ello se ha de añadir su noción de pintura que, con una dimensión humanizadora del entorno, alude a una temporalidad no sometida a la precipitación contemporánea ni a las modas artísticas. Miriam Moreno Aguirre (Madrid, 1954). Desde su ingreso en Televisión Española en 1975, su trayectoria profesional se desarrolló principalmente en el campo de la producción de programas culturales especializados en arte, música, literatura y cine (La Edad de Oro, Fila 7, Encuentros con las Artes y las Letras, A fondo), y ya en la década de los noventa en puestos de dirección en las áreas de coproducciones y producción ajena. Es doctora en Filosofía por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con una tesis dedicada a la obra de Ramón Gaya. Ha publicado el libro El arte como destino. Pintura y escritura en Ramón Gaya (2010) y diversos artículos en revistas de filosofía, reseñas y textos de carácter ensayístico, entre los que destaca el aparecido en Vidario (2009), libro colectivo sobre el Salón de pasos perdidos de Andrés Trapiello31.

Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
