He traveled from England to West Africa where he visited Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Gold Cost, Bonny and Ferdinand Po, Cameroon and Gabon. He did some missionary work. There is no hunting except for a small section on manatus hunting by natives, which is like the manatee of North America.
