Binding sound, starting to separate along front gutter. Illustrated endpapers, lightly foxed. Front pastedown with small bookseller label of the Palestine Educational Co., Jerusalem. Gift inscription to ffep. Tanning to half-title page, which also has a small closed tear at the base. Tanning also to rear endpapers.103pp., b/w illustrations. Small horizontal closed tear to pp. 5-6 and 9-10. pp. 19-20 torn horizonatally across page. pp. 35-36 detached but intact, some other pages loose. Pencil mar and small closed tear to pp. 71-72.
