The majority of the publication is a collection of Dr.Frederick Banting's drawings, along with excerpts from his diary written during an Eastern Arctic Expedition he made in 1927, accompanied by Group of Seven artist, A. Y. Jackson. Also a short essay by A. J. Casson, entitled "The Doctor as an Artist". There are poems by 29 poets at the end of the book. A personal letter stapled to the inside of the front cover - from one of the Poets included in the publication.( Richard Woollatt). Signed by the Poet Richard Woollatt on page 146 below his poem.
