An About Fine copy of the first edition, first printing, of Jack London's short story "A Northland Miracle" published for the first time here in The Youth's Companion (light wear, expected toning to pages, subscribee's mailing address stamped to the front wrapper's left margin). London submitted the story to The Youth's Companion in October, 1900 and received $50 from the magazine in payment for it, but the magazine did not publish the story until it appeared in this 1926 issue. [Jack London died on November 22, 1916 and thus did not live to see the story published.] Due to the ephemeral nature of this publication, we expect that relatively few copies have survived, especially when in a condition as nice as is this copy. An about Fine copy of the true first publication of Jack London's short story "A Northland Miracle". SCARCE. Bookseller Inventory #
